I’ve then used an additional pencil blending technique before adding more details over the top. This bumblebee on campion flower was drawn from a photograph that I took on a spring day in Newquay Cornwall. As a photographer and artist, I have a huge love of wildlife and the natural world. I strive to capture the beauty and personality of each creature that I draw. I also find that the level of detail that is necessary for me to work to create these pieces of artwork, allows me to really feel connected to each bird, mammal, reptile or insect that I draw. This is something that is important to me and I hope this comes across in my art.
