TECHNISAT TECHNISTAR S6 CI USB PVR INTERNATIONAL EDITION WITH FAST-SCAN PVR READY  CI COMPATIBLE  SATELLITE RECEIVER The TechniStar S6 International Edition from respected German manufacturer Technisat is a HDTV digital satellite receiver with a wide range of first-class features and functions. To receive Pay-TV channels the TechniStar S6 International Edition has an integrated CONAX smartcard reader and a CI/CI Ready Common Interface slot. This interface permits the use of additional decoding systems. The TechniStar S6 is also equipped with a whole host of advanced features, is DVR Ready and supports Technisat’s TechniFamily functions. The DVRready function facilitates the recording of broadcasts onto an external storage medium such as a USB hard drive. The TechniFamily feature can be used to set up various different user accounts on the receiver. This can be used, for example, to enable parents to stipulate how long their children can watch television during the day and which channels they can watch.
