Description A colourful and striking pack of 6 blank greetings cards from my linocut images of wildlife. This collection of old favourites includes a fox, hare, deer, pheasant, buzzard and red squirrel. These iconic birds and animals are found in woodlands, bogs and moors, some more elusive than others. This pack would make a perfect gift for a wildlife enthusiast, bird watcher, walker, nature lover. In my making process I carve the design out of linoleum or Japanese vinyl, roll it up with ink and handprint it. I put a lot of time and thought into mixing my inks when printmaking. I apply the first colour to the lino, handprint it then cut away more of the image, mix up the second colour, apply, print and so on, building up layer upon layer. The result is a rich depth of colour. Card size: 148 x 148mm, printed on 300gm card sourced from sustainable forests with brown ribbed envelopes.
